The Season of Gratitude
Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it.
The holidays are a great time for sledding, social outings, gift-giving, and lights. Brooks (4) couldn’t be more excited for Hannukah gifts and staying up late with his friend on New Years’ Eve.
More importantly for Jana and I, it’s a time for reflection on the year that was, who we are and who we want to be, and how we can do even better.
A key theme for us is gratitude this year! Despite the craziness of life as working parents, we have so much to be grateful for.
💟 Two healthy, sweet boys
💟 Careers that keep us challenged and fulfilled, as well as amazing teams
💟 Loving and supportive families and friends
💟 Our health
💟 Living in a beautiful community
💟 Two amazing Thanksgiving meals - kudos to Staci Zampa, Hunter Zampa, Warren Landesberg, Naomi Landesberg!
💟 Each other
One way we teach our kids about virtues is through reading, even if Hudson (16 months) is not super enthused yet.
On this week’s list:
1) Gratitude is my Superpower by Alicia Ortego
2) The Tiny Seed of Gratitude by A.M. Bauer
