Our 2025 New Year’s reflection:

Jana and I started a little something together in 2025 called the Modern Parent Juggle ♥️

When Hudson (now 17 months) was a newborn, we feared that we could slip into a parental trance of sorts.

There weren’t enough hours in the day. No one saw us enough. We were exhausted from years of poor sleep.

It would have been easy to be passive participants in our own lives.

One day, we had a realization – our friends routinely asked us:
“How do you manage to fit it all in?”

“How do you find the time”?

We reflected and realized that we weren’t giving ourselves enough credit. In fact, we had built systems that made sense, and could potentially help other working parents (or aunts, uncles, or grandparents living the juggle) feeling the same way and dealing with the same pressures.

We set out to show working parenting as it is – the highs, the lows, the heartfelt moments, and the way we think about choices and tradeoffs.

We’ve been so pleased with the engagement from our friends, family, colleagues, and our LinkedIn network.

Our year in review:
🎉   We wrote nearly 50 posts
🎉   Over 200,000 people saw our posts, and 6,000 engaged with them
🎉   We launched our website: www.modernparentjuggle.com
🎉   We had our very first speaking engagement – thanks to Joseph O'Connell, MBA, CPA, CHFP, FHFMA, Nelya Shymon, Sheila Hojnacki, CHFP, FHFMA and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) of Northeast PA for giving us a shot!

We are sharing all of this to express gratitude for so much encouragement, advice, and inspiration! Please keep it all coming!

Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year, from our family to yours.
